This product is a 1-inch diameter by 1-inch width mounted flap wheel, featuring aluminum oxide abrasive grains bonded to X-weight cloth flaps with a resin bond. These flaps are arranged in a fan-like pattern around a straight 1/4″ shank, allowing for consistent grinding as new abrasive grains are continuously exposed during operation. The flap wheel’s construction enables it to conform to irregular surfaces and contours, making it particularly effective for grinding, deburring, polishing, blending, and flash removal in hard-to-reach areas such as inside pipes, tubes, and tight corners. The wheel is designed to operate at speeds up to 25,000 RPM, and its flexibility makes it suitable for both flat and curved surfaces.
