This product is a 4-1/2-inch diameter Type 29 (beveled-style) flap disc designed for aggressive grinding, edge beveling, and finishing applications on metal surfaces. It is constructed with premium zirconia abrasive flaps, bonded with a resin adhesive onto a durable fiberglass backing plate. The Type 29 beveled design allows for steeper grinding angles, enhancing surface contact for rapid material removal and efficient weld blending, especially on contoured or sloped workpieces. The overlapping flap structure provides continuous exposure of fresh abrasive, delivering consistent grinding performance and cooler operation. The disc features a 7/8″ arbor hole for mounting on compatible right-angle grinders using a locking nut.
