This product is a 7-inch diameter Type 29 (beveled-style) flap disc designed for heavy-duty grinding, weld blending, and finishing on metal surfaces. It is constructed with premium zirconia abrasive flaps, bonded with resin adhesive onto a fiberglass backing plate. The Type 29 beveled design allows for aggressive grinding at steeper angles, increasing surface contact for rapid material removal and contouring on flat and curved surfaces. The overlapping flap structure enables continuous exposure of fresh abrasive for consistent cutting performance and cooler operation. This disc includes a 5/8″-11 threaded arbor nut for quick, secure, and tool-free mounting on compatible right-angle grinders.
