his is a Type 27 depressed center grinding wheel engineered for high-efficiency grinding on ferrous metals. Manufactured with durable A24R aluminum oxide grain, this wheel is resin bonded and fully reinforced with fiberglass mesh to provide strength, durability, and safe operation at speeds up to 8,500 RPM. The 1/4″ thickness is optimized for high stock removal during rough surface preparation, weld grinding, and heavy material removal. Suitable for use with 7″ angle grinders using a 7/8″ arbor. Common Uses:
• Grinding weld seams and bead dressing
• Blending and leveling fabricated steel parts
• Removing scale, rust, and burrs from iron and steel surfaces
• Deburring and edge finishing on structural steel
